It took a while to move west, but knowing what was out here after a few visits during my rearing and education on the east coast, the migration seemed inevitable. I've been criss-crossing North America between my home [Eastern Sierra] and that of my family [Vermont] ever since. Because I'm constantly on the hunt for the hidden gems and best our country has to offer, my travels through America are not linear between these two destinations, and thanks to the many friends scattered across the land, exploring and experiencing the goods is seldom a solo affair...unless it's intended to be. I've had the good fortune of a few international travels and foreign study and together with my domestic wanderings, all have fertilized a robust case of wanderlust I fear I will not cure until I pass.
Inside 'the office' I'm working on wind energy, while outside I pursue a variety of sports, nearly all involving mountains and the great outdoors and in all I achieve varying degrees of mediocrity. I tend to enjoy earning the up as much as indulging in the down, using as much of my own energy - and that of raw mother nature - as much as possible. That way, I get hungry, which fuels another love in life: eating.
Through it all I leverage a number of tools to capture the moment, and though the activities are the primary objective, the day doesn't seem complete without taking a few pictures for documentation.
